Bluvras Heartbeat Plush — Calming Companion Toy Shell

A cuddle buddy with a heartbeat inside.

The Bluvras Heartbeat Plush turns the Pulse Core into a complete calming companion. Drop the Pulse Core into the zippered back pocket, and your pet has a soft, huggable plush that carries the maternal heartbeat rhythm directly against their body. It is the gift version of the Pulse Core, designed for the moment a new puppy comes home, a rescue cat arrives, or a friend’s dog needs comfort.

Why A Plush With A Heartbeat

Loose devices are clinical. A plush is emotional. Pets who would ignore a bare module will curl around a plush with a heartbeat inside, treating it like a littermate or a mother. The plush carries the heartbeat rhythm through a larger surface area than the bare device, so the cue reaches more of the pet’s body at once.

For the full science behind why the maternal heartbeat rhythm calms pets, read our heartbeat science guide.

When To Use It

• New puppy first nights — the plush + Pulse Core recreates the littermate feeling. The single most effective tool for the first week home.
• Rescue cat adjustment — the plush is one of the few calming aids a cat will accept before they accept touch. See our rescue cat guide.
• Alone-time training — the plush gives the pet something to curl around when you leave. See our alone-time training guide.
• Storm dens — the plush with heartbeat in a covered crate is the core of the storm setup. See our fireworks guide.
• Gift giving — the plush + Pulse Core makes a complete, giftable calm companion for a friend with a new pet.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this plush safe for heavy chewers?

The seams are reinforced, but no plush is truly chew-proof. For determined chewers, use the plush only under supervision. The Pulse Core pocket is positioned to be hard for the pet to access, but a determined chewer can get through any fabric.

Will my cat use it?

Many cats take to the plush faster than expected, especially rescue cats and kittens. For older, set-in-their-ways cats, expect a longer introduction. The plush + heartbeat is most effective for cats in transition: new home, new pet, travel. See our cat anxiety signals guide for whether your cat is responding.

Can I buy the plush and Pulse Core together as a bundle?

Yes, see the Pulse Core product page for bundle options, or add both to cart and reach free shipping.
